DaLipstickBandit Cosmetics is a home-grown business born out of the kitchen of owner, Felicia York. She mixes her own special cocktail of mango, shea and cocoa butters with essential oils that fight aging, moisturize and soothe the skin. She adds the finest sugar and salts around. Throw in her own special mix of fragrance and you have the perfect recipe for everyday guilt-free indulgence.
Her aesthetic is the same as her outlook on the modern woman. Beauty is unique. With a simple, young, clean and edgy look, she adds a certain je nais c’est quoi to the beauty industry. She believes women of all hues, skin types and sizes are beautiful. You may see a model with tattoos and piercing in one ad or a plus-sized glamour girl in another. The message is clear: “Every woman has a bit of bandit in them.”
A rookie in the industry, there is no denying that her high quality hand-whipped body butters and scrubs are just the tip of the iceberg. When asked what’s next for her, she answered, “The sky is the limit!”
